As we come towards the end of term, things have definitely not been winding down for the girls! The School is full of Christmas spirit with the girls taking part in a wide range of events and activities!
Our Pre-Prep girls put on a fantastic nativity play ‘Born In A Barn’ for the rest of the school and their parents over 3 days. They worked so hard learning their lines and all the songs that were needed for the performance, and delivered a nativity play to be proud of! The Prep girls held their Christmas carol service last night at Christ Church Little Heath. Each class performed a Christmas song, using both vocal and instrumental accompaniments to showcase their wide range of skills, all co-ordinated by our Head of Music and Drama. The parents enjoyed the performance, and were delighted to have a homemade mince pie made from the School’s kitchen at the end of the service!
Christmas parties have also been in full swing, with the Prep party taking place earlier this week and Pre-Prep eagerly looking forward to theirs today! Everyone has arrived wearing their best Christmas jumper and festive headwear, all ready for a party filled with fun and games.
To round off the events, we have our whole School Christmas lunch next week, where the girls will sit together with all the staff and enjoy a homemade Christmas lunch with all the trimmings! Photos of the delicious meal will be shared on our food Instagram page @Stormont_Schoolfood.
It has been great to see the girls, their families and Stormont staff enjoying the festivities this time of year!
