The specialist pottery room houses a kiln and accommodates twelve pupils. The girls develop skills in modelling, coil work and slab work as well as learning different surface decoration techniques which are refined over the years. All work is displayed as part of the Celebration of the Arts event and some submitted for competitions and exhibitions outside of school. Clay work will often link with the themes in Art and pupils explore the work of culturally diverse ceramicists. A pottery club runs during the Summer Term.
