Our Stormont Parents’ Association (SPA) is a dedicated and passionate committee which is incredibly supportive to the School. They work hard to organise events that enrich the school experiences of the girls and their families, whilst raising funds that are either reinvested into the school or for donation to our chosen charities – The Hart and Parker Trust (our local Potters Bar Charity) and Hope and Homes for Children (our annual chosen charity as voted for by the girls at the start of the academic year).
The committee is made of up of volunteers from our parent body and is led by our Co-Chairs, who are supported by a Secretary and a Treasurer. Parent representatives from every year group also sit on the committee. Each member brings ideas, enthusiasm and support to everything the committee do and we are very grateful to each and every one of our volunteers.
Events that are organised by SPA include our Autumn party, Valentine’s disco, Christmas Yuletide, Quiz Nights, Macmillan Coffee Mornings, Harvest Festival and Food Bank donations, as well as support for school events such as sports day with our tea and cake stand! Each event is co-ordinated with the Head and implemented throughout the school year. These events are available to allow all our families to come together, and to provide opportunities to support to those in our community who those less fortunate than ourselves.
