To apply for a Reception place at Stormont the process is as follows:
Please contact Stormont to enquire about spaces in the Reception Class, 7+ entry into Year 3 or availability in other years.
You can do that by either completing the ‘Contact Us’ form here, emailing admissions@stormontschool.org or calling 01707 654 037 and our Admissions will get in touch with you to answer any questions you may have.
You are advised to register early as spaces do fill quickly in Reception.
Please arrange to visit the school either for a private tour, or by booking a place on our open days, the details of which can be found here.
To register your daughter, please complete the Registration Form available here and pay the non-refundable registration fee of £120. Payment can be made online, with full details provided on the form. You are welcome to register your daughter at any time. Please note that an offer of a place can only be made once registration has been completed.
For Reception entry, once your daughter is registered, you will receive an offer letter during the autumn term in the year before she is due to start school.
At Stormont, places are offered on a first come, first served basis. Once you have received your offer letter, both parents should complete and sign the Acceptance Form and pay the £1,000 deposit by the date specified in the offer. Of this amount, £500 is credited against your daughter’s first term’s fees, and the remaining £500 is refunded in her final term at Stormont, less any outstanding charges.
Fees are issued termly and must be paid by the first day of each new term. A full term’s notice is required if you choose to withdraw your acceptance of a Reception place. Fees in lieu of notice will be charged if the required notice is not received within the specified timeframe.

If you are seeking an in-year place for your daughter, please contact our Admissions team who will guide you through the process. If you have not yet visited the school, you will be invited to either a private tour or one of our Open Mornings.
Following your visit, we will require a completed Registration Form and payment of the registration fee, as outlined above. Please note that registering for an in-year place is an expression of interest and does not guarantee an offer.
If an in-year place is available, you will be invited to meet with the Headteacher. At this stage, your daughter may be invited for a taster day and to participate in informal assessments in English and Maths to ensure that Stormont is the right fit for her. We will also request her most recent school report.
Once all steps are completed and we are confident that Stormont is the right choice, an offer letter will be issued, and the acceptance procedure, as outlined above, will follow.
