How To Apply

We are delighted that you are interested in Stormont School for your daughter. We are currently taking registrations for places in Reception for 2025-26 and beyond.

We are now offering a 7+ entry for girls to enter our Year 3 class. Please note that there are very limited spaces in this entry point so please get in contact with admissions@stormontschool.org if you are interested in applying for these spaces.

We do occasionally have limited spaces in other years through the school. We have detailed below the procedure for the application process, but if you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact Miss Hodgins, our Head of Admissions, on admissions@stormontschool.org.

Contact Stormont

Please contact the school to enquire about spaces in the Reception Class, 7+ entry into Year 3 or availability in other years. Please complete the contact us form here and Miss Hodgins will get in touch with you to answer any questions you may have. You are advised to register early as spaces do fill quickly in Reception. The registration form is here.

Arrange to Visit

Arrange a visit for a personal tour with Miss Martin, the Head of Stormont, who will be more than happy to show you round on a normal school day to get a real feel for what Stormont can offer your daughter.

Our next Open Morning is on Thursday 25th April from 9.00am – 11.00am. This will allow prospective families to see the school on a normal school day with lessons taking place. Please contact Miss Hodgins in Admissions for details by completing the contact form here.

Register

To register, please complete the registration form available here and pay the £100 non-refundable registration fee. This can be paid online, details of which are on the registration form. You can register your daughter at any time, but you will only receive an offer letter if you have registered.

Offer

Offers are sent out in the Autumn term of the year prior to when your daughter is due to start.

Acceptance

Once you have received your offer letter both parents should complete and sign the Acceptance Form and pay the £1000 acceptance fee by the date issued. Of this amount £500 is a deposit towards the first term’s fees and the remaining £500 will be refunded in your child’s final term at Stormont less any monies owed to the school.  Fees are issued termly and should be paid by the first day of the new term.

A full term’s notice is required if parents subsequently withdraw their acceptance of a Reception place. On withdrawal, £500 will be refunded.   Please see our Terms and Conditions which are available from Admissions.  Fees in lieu of notice will be invoiced if a full term’s notice is not received by the school in the specified time.

Occasional Spaces

We do occasionally have spaces in other years through the school.  If you are looking for an in-year transfer please contact Miss Hodgins who will be able to assist you with the process.  If you have not visited the school you will be invited to have a private tour or to attend one of our Open Mornings. We would require a registration form and registration fee to be paid, details of which are set out above. Please note that registering for occasional spaces is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee an offer of a place. You will be invited to a meeting with the Head, then at that point your child may be invited to spend a taster day at Stormont and take part in informal assessments to ensure that entry to Stormont School is the right decision for her. School reports will be requested and a reference from her current school will be required. Once satisfied an offer letter will be issued and the procedure will be followed for Acceptance as mentioned above.

The breadth of the curriculum and continuation of specialist subjects e.g french, ICT, art and music is excellent and keeps Eloise interested. Each teacher is clearly passionate and enthusiastic and it shows in the lesson planning and engagement!
